Its this kind of thing that makes me wonder why this site even bothers with the Japanese preview, they predicted over 700,000 for XIII-2 and it did 520,000.

Why dont they just have the sense to wait for the media create numbers then embarrass themselves with such inaccuracy?

Because it's a preview. It's samples from one store to give a guide on how early numbers will roughly pan out.

I think this topic comes up a lot, the preview is just so a rough (very rough) understanding of how the week might be.

Its pointless, not only is it very inaccurate you have the proper numbers just a couple days later. I could be more accurate than the numbers in that preview.

It's not just FFXIII. It's FF XIV as well.
