Forums - Nintendo Discussion - i've watched EVERY single pokemon episode so far, and here is what i think of it, and it's characters

when i saw this thread

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=137211&page=1#

i decided i should talk about this, i'm a huge fan of pokemon and watched every single episode of the anime, its really lighthearted and always enjoyable.

Worst and best Season

Worst Season had to be the second , heck i even forgot what the guy with bandana on's name, its that season with a lot of islands... , -googled- yeah Tracey i think, that season is the reason why everyone doesn't watch Pokemon anymore, and i don't blame them, its super lame.

best Season had to be the diamond and pearl one , because of Dawn and her Piplup (read below)

now here is what i think of every character (nor including the ones who show up in just one episode, or the villians)

Ashe is lame as hell in the first seasons, he is pretty staight forward and dumb, but he grows in character in later seasons, so much that he feels like a human , instead of a walking 90's super kid who kickass and take names

Maye is probably the lead character of the season she appeared on, she at first hated pokemons and whined and complains,  and then grew to be an excellent character.

Tracey , is ... uh ... uninteresting as hell, boring, and well , just a boring replacement of Brock

Dawn kicked ass, from the very start, she was even better trainer than Ash, and has a really good personality, she's my favorite Pokemon character

Misty is lame, she is such a cliche female stereotype character, i can imagine her always being in a kitchen, talking about how important milk is for the teeth.

Max is like Maye an interesting character he and Maye were pretty awesome in their season

Brock is always the same from the first season till the day he left

Cilan is cliche'd chef , he is annoying with his food metaphors , annoying fucker he is.

Iris, is less annoying than Cilan , because she actually has a past with the dragon training and all , but i cringe everytime she says "SUCH A KID!"

Around the Network

I tried watching it once a couple of years back from the beginning but I only got to like episode 10. There were just too many episodes it seemed like I'd never be able to finish it (aka catch up), I got discouraged and gave up. That and the fact that I had nowhere near that much free time to waste on it

It's still a mission of mine to watch all of it + the movies, I'm gonna do it after I graduate this semester!!

i watched every single episode during my lunch / dinner break, sinnce you are doing nothing at all at the time just eating, and i dislike not multitasking, so whenever i'm eating, i HAVE to do something else.

oh and by the way, if you really have no time, then i suggest you watch Diamond and Pearl, skipping the rest, you'll enjoy it

besides Pokemon doesn't need to be watched from the start, since there isn't any connection between any of the seasons

I'd like you to elaborate on your anti-Misty stance

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Does it actually have story, does ash actually mention he has a charizard and many other pokemon he doesn't use??

Brock left? ;_;

I watched a lot of the hoenn region not much before that. Though I did read the manga up to the start of the johto region

The completionist in me won't let me watch only part of it, I have to watch all of it or none of it XP

And @ the watching during eating thing, I already do that with most other stuff lol. I'm mostly just discouraged by the amount of episodes there are, but I watched shows that were longer, just took a while since I'd watch only a few episodes on a regular day (non marathon mode lol)

Soon...

she's just a stereotypical female character, the one that is weak, and is afraid of bugs, and has typical girl traits, plus has a "motherly" attitude towards the rest of the characters, in the first season, Misty was the typical girl and Ash was the typical Boy.
