MS thinks they will be first worldwide???....

They can't be serious. I am actually interested in seeing what they are planning. They have been saying they will be first for months now, and the chance is looking slimmer with every week.

It'd be kinda funny if Microsoft still whines up last of the big 3 after having a year head start,  constant price advantage( compared to ps3), trying its hardest to market in Japan etc etc.

I'm not optimistic about Nov-Dec based on how Jan-Oct have gone in the US:

US HW Jan-Oct
Nov-Dec
2007 17.8m 13.2m
2008 20.5m 14.2m
2009 18.4m 15.8m
2010 15.6m 13.5m
2011 14.6m 11.5m-13.5m?

Since Sony said they saw a 5% growth YOY, shouldn't it say ~263K in the OP?

Zelda will sell in the line of DKCR, if not a little more. JD3 won´t make numbers like JD2.

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Yep, after doing the math, it looks like everyone rounded up there percentages. If you take MS's 44% marketshare and change it to 43.5%, you get a total of ~904K consoles sold. Minus the 360 from that and you get 511K to play with. Even if you take the Wii at 250K, that leaves 261K for the PS3. Of course, the Wii didn't see a full 8% growth, as that would have caused them to be over 250K, not nearly missing it. So, most likely it was a ~7.5% growth, so that puts them at ~249K. Which leaves 262K for the PS3, which puts them at ~4.7% growth YOY. Ah, math.

Edit:  Lol, nevermind.  Misread the statement.  They were only speaking of SW.  Well, that feels like a waste of time, now.  Oh well, it's a good thing I like math.

Lol, it's a good thing for Activision that there are so many parents who let their kids play anything, regardless of rating.
