Nintendo says Skyward Sword is 50 hours. That means it's roughly 25. Remember they once said Twilight Princess was 70 hours long.

Not...really. TP was way more than 35 hours (if you cut the 70 hour length in half like you did for SS). Miyamoto also said this is the most packed Zelda and that you can play for a long time. 50-100 hours isn't far fetched.


I did mostly everything in TP. I finished it in 28 hours. I actually just finished it for the first time almost a week ago.

Getting a 100% playthrough in TP definitely does not take only 28 hours (well you say you did mostly everything, not 100%, but did you get all the poe souls, bugs, found all secret areas, treasures, secret dungeon, etc.?)... :x Not the first time.


I did the secret dungeons. Mostly all bugs, was missing a couple. Didn't care about the poes. Most heart containers. Considering how easy the final boss was doing most of that extra stuff wasn't necessary. Looking forward to SS though.

That 50 room dungeon had probably the worst possible reward ever btw. >.<

It took me just under 45 hours to do absolutely everything in the game and I wouldn't say it took the game slowly.  Though I did waste a couple of hours at least on that ball puzzle thingy in the fishing place, until I got the sinker lure.
