For those who didn't already know, Tales of Xillia was released yesterday in Japan. Which means talk about the next entry in the series would be forthcoming. According to Namco Bandai's itinerary for this year's Tokyo Game Show event it appears the company will be announcing some new information about the series.

On September 16 (the event takes place between September 15-18 in Tokyo) at 1:00-1:45 JST the company will be presenting some new information regarding the series, although no exact details have been announced thus far. Namco Bandai usually tends to announce the next game in the series shortly after the last main release so having the next title (or titles) being announced isn't outside the realm of possibility.

We'll keep you updated if any important news breaks from the event.

If Tales of Xillia shows strong numbers for PS3... I can see another for game with PS3/Vita integration .

Seeing Tales of Symphonia on that badboy will be a instant seller. Hopefully we will see some news about the ToGF localization.

Would they really concentrate on any news regarding overseas and the Tales series? It's wishful thinking, but I think they'll just announce a new game (probably for PS3/Vita or one of those systems.

Ehh at this point I would just like Tales of Graces F to release.

Just call it Tales of Noportia, that way people in the West will no not to look for a port of the game.

Vita is the most likely platform IMO, but I wouldn't by surprised at another 3DS or PS3 Tales game

Considering the event is at the Tokyo Game Show, it is unlikely that there would be any news regarding overseas markets.

Hmm... Probably a Vita game.
