im surprised more people have not realized this. Games have gotten easier over time as more people are playing games, most humans suck at games and alot are lazy anyway. Devs have had to make games easier to appease the masses. Look at Mario Kart for Wii, they dumbed it down a bit so more people could play and the same reason why COD slaughters all other FPSs, any person can jump in and feel badass. Its good for their sales but thats about it. This is why i love Wipeout, its not afraid to kick you in the butt and let you know you suck. im not saying we need to go back to Gen/SNES days when u couldnt finish a damn game but the PS1/N64 had good balance

F-Zero GX's sense of speed is by far the best, but it has some mechanics issues if you're looking to get into time trials and shaving seconds off. It's also the most cruel and unforgiving.
