Republican or Democrat?

Forums - Politics Discussion - Republican or Democrat?

Which one are you and which one do you support? I'm Canadian but my cousin just came over to my place last week and we were talking about the most corrpt country in the world (The United States of America) and who were the ones who really screwed up the country. I may think differenlty than you so please don't critize me. Anyways let me start out with I don't think the Democrats are any good infact there both bitches but I think the U.S  screwed up mostly because of George W. Bush. The three things I'm gonna identify here are.

1. The Iraq War (You all should know about that one)

2. The Republican's treating the poor unfairly.

3. And less taxes on the rich.

4. Republican's leaving the bank in charge of the U.S.

2. I'm guessing everyone knows about number one so I'll jump on to number two. The Republican's have stated before they think that the poor are lazy despite them working 40 hours a week on average. Republicans have blamed the poor for this financial crysis that they are going through. Well what will you do when your monthly expenses outpace your income? And with hardly any finacial or social assisstance just make things worse. They have stated that the poor are subsidezed by welfare. WTF they don't even qualify for public assistance. Only the people who are severly injured or disables get SOME help. Not the ones who are working there ass off earning money?

3. And last but not least instead of taking taxes from big compaines they help them with the middle class's money. The Repubilcan's always go buy saying "less taxes" but what they mean by that is less taxes for the rich. There are so many companies especillay on Wall Street that have made billions maybe trillions of dollars in proift but haven't spend a dime on taxes, even worse the Republican's support that. I can assure you if the government actaully took the taxes from those big companies the U.S. wouldn't be in this state right now.

4. This is by far the most important one. Since Republican's left the banks in control in America (don't argue) and when the Chinese decided to invest in America aka the U.S.A. banks. So China gave big loans to them and the banks gave loans to people then people invest in houses and cars and many other products and then China buys those cars and all the other products. So basicly China was buying there own money back and paying interest as well. As soon as China found out they took all there money back and the very next day the U.S. market crashed

So what do you think?

If I were American, I'd be pretty evenly divided between the two. Economically Republican, socially Democrat.

I believe the Republican's are the one who really made the U.S.A. in the state it is in now. The republican's take a whole bunch of taxes from small compaines and companines that are facing loss and no tax at all from companies who made billions maybe trillions of dollars profit. No tax at all. If they actaully took some taxes from those companies that were making so much profits and less or no taxes from the small companies the U.S would be in a lot better state right now. And after what George W. Bush and his father did to the country there's almost no fixing it now. And despite the Republican's treating the middle class and lower class like shit those guys still support them. Believe it or not when my cousin came over to Canada the first time 1 Canadian dollar was worth .64 dollars in the States. Just 4 years later when they come back 1 Canadain dollar is worth 1.040 USD! I guess the saying is true the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer. That statement proves to be very valid in the U.S.A.

1. I support neither branch as they are simply two heads of the same bird.

2. Your post is so full of misinformation I don't even know where to begin.   I'll just sum it up for you.  BOTH PARTIES SUCK.  They are both as responponsible as the other.  You can't point the finger at the other party for cutting the wings off the chicken when your own party ran over the damn thing.

First off, I choose Libertariajn. But anyways, lets go over your fail of a post:

The republican's take a whole bunch of taxes from small compaines and companines that are facing loss and no tax at all from companies who made billions maybe trillions of dollars profit. No tax at all.

Actually, the Democrats have done this as well. GE failed to pay billions last year due to loopholes. Additionally, companies like GE gave millions to the Democrats. Both parties get paid by corporations. Furthermore, when you argue about small businesses: Which party do small businesses vote for? The answer is Republicans. Look at NFIB ratings among all candidates, and you will find that Republicans are rated far and above Democrats by the NFIB (National Federation of Independant Businesses - which is the leading interest group for small businesses).

If they actaully took some taxes from those companies that were making so much profits and less or no taxes from the small companies the U.S would be in a lot better state right now.

It'd be even better if we removed corporate taxes entirely.

And after what George W. Bush and his father did to the country there's almost no fixing it now.

So what was that, exactly?

And despite the Republican's treating the middle class and lower class like shit those guys still support them.

Again, how, exactly?

Believe it or not when my cousin came over to Canada the first time 1 Canadian dollar was worth .64 dollars in the States. Just 4 years later when they come back 1 Canadain dollar is worth 1.040 USD! I guess the saying is true the rich keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer. That statement proves to be very valid in the U.S.A.

That has nothing to do with Republicans, and everything to do with the federal reserve. Who started the federal reserve? The Democrats (Wilson). Both parties are very happy to see the currency debased. To argue its only republicans is full of fail

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

In your parallel universe in which the U.S. is the most corrupt country in the world, the Bushes had an uninterrupted presidential dynasty, and the Republicans get more money from big business and Wall Street than do the Democrats, I guess I'm a Democrat.

In actual reality, though, I'm quite proud to be neither. I do despise the Democrats more, for whatever that's worth.

Dsage I have never seen a more misinformed post in my entire life. What Viper1 said is a 100% true.
As for me I vote for the lesser of the two evils everytime an election comes around.

I take it, you've never read a Joelcool7 post. Doesn't matter if he talks about video games, politics, marriage etc.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

I don't support either. None of them are good leaders and it keeps on showing.

if i were an american

i would support neither parties but if you ask which way a country should be

a republic, just one problem that they need to re-invest some of the money and shape the society otherwise it will have problems one day.

Democracy is foolishness as it can't sustain a long term society.

its like  10 donkeys produce 100 children and then don't work for it and then tell others who work to pay for them and their lifestyle

or homosexuals demand everything should be allowed, who the hell is going to run the soceity when you are 70years old

If I were American, Democrat, as it's a better choice than the other one.
