I just received an invite for the Battlefield 3 Alpha Trial, I've been playing for a good 30 minutes but not enough to give my impressions yet, I will probably post them later.

Anyway, I am wondering how many other people got invites (I want to know if I got lucky), and if you did, what are your impressions of the game so far?

Isn't there and NDA that says you are not supposed to talk about it.....

I think talking about how a person feels about it is ok. But showing vid and talking about in depth things aren't. A few people on youtube got the ok from dice to show footage of it.

And no..I didn't get mine :(

I thought they were referring more to taking screenshots / videos and talking in-depth about the game, rather than just impressions.

But that's fine, still, I'm wondering how many people have access to the alpha trial, DICE's e-mail was very flattering, I thought I was lucky or something.

i dont meet the requirement to enter the site.

Most likely because i am Australian. Wouldn't they want to test there servers for what could be game crippling lag for thousands of gamers. I guess not.

I doubt its because your Australian. Whats your Veteran status?  And thats the point of this alpha, to test the servers so we dont have that problem when they game comes out. To be honest i think the real test will be the public beta in Sept. i can see that being played by more people then the final game.
