Yeah there for sure isn't going to be a price cut this year.  They've already announced the price of this console as well as the Gears bundle and both prices reflect no price reduction.

I'm pretty amazed at how long MS has been able to continue without a price reduction but they are posting good profits every single quarter so I can't blame them at all.

like Sony announced TOX Edition PS3 at June with 38000yen,but it doens't mean they will not make a price cut this year


There's not going to be a price cut.  Other wise these bundles are WAY over priced. 

I don't expect a price cut anymore from the MS division until next year.

wat over priced?250GB(320GB)+Kinect=399

this bundle with 1 more game=449


Correct.  They would be overpriced.  The purpose of bundles is to give percieved good value and move hardware and software for specific key franchises.  As it is both the Gears and Star Wars bundles are in nice positions to do exactly that.

However if the price drops $50 - $100 on the other model 360's these bundles simply would be priced well to high in comparison to the other sku's.  Not to mention MS just posted another quarter with big profits and I think they realize they are going to win the holidays in sales.  No price cut for the 360 till next year.

I work for the largest gameing retailer on Earth.

We already have tons of these consoles pre-ordered and payed for.  If MS changed the price on these that would severley affect our sales quotes and profit margins.  There will be no price reduction on these bundles for 100% certain and thus no price cut on the standard console IMO.

well if you're right i don't think 360 will be better than last year(even drop kinect price) so i still believe it will be price cut like 2007

Ok, I was not a fan of the R2-D2 skin until I saw that "Help me Obi-Wan" message. Now it's just plain awesome.

I could not stand the sound everytime when I put a game in my X360 =p. Prefer the Halo Reach X360 sounds =p.

The Reach sounds are great, allregular 360s should come with these sounds. Speaking of that, is the Gears console coming with any sounds? Would be sick to hear a Marcus scream, gunfire, Lancer chainsaw or ....anything from Cole or Baird. As long as it's not Dom crying about his family......fucking still.



I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

The Gears console makes the sound of a reving up chainsaw when you power it on / open the disc tray.

I do agree that this console looks amazing.  I don't have a 360 and if I had the money, this is the one I would get.  I am a huge Star Wars fan (original trilogy only) and this 360 design is a great idea.

well it seemed to look better then last yrs. the final product will tell all, although i don't have much faith that it will be any good. the controls did look good though. i just don't want to look stupid waving my arms around without a light saber lol.

yea i'm still waiting on a great star wars game and star trek game.
