Gears of War 1 had a great campaign and managed to sell 6 millon. gears 3 had basically no multiplayer for a few months and managed to get even more. Gears 3 is so much better than both from what I've seen/played so far so I will bet you anything Gears 3 will sell 10 million lifetime. Probable right on the money with that prediction. On the high end I could see it topping twelve million but i dont believe it will fall below seven million.

7 million is 100% guaranteed.

8 million looks pretty darn doable.

9 million is pretty high not sure if it'll make it

10 million is reaching a bit to me but is certainly possible, not out of the question.

I can't see it passing 8 million personally with Halo 4 next year the legs aren't gonna be that long imo but good luck on your prediction.

10 mill seems a bit high. I love gears but I'm not sure it has the same mass appeal as halo or cod. If it does get anywhere near that number it will probably be in 2013.
