I find this to be:
A) Quite likely, as it would be a good way to get the community to build up hype for these games with exactly zero marketing budget - and lets be honest, we know this strategy worked well for Activision with both recent CoD games.
and
B) Distasteful and lacking in tact, to the point of bordering on bad business.

Therefor, I call true! (typical Nintendo non-strategy)

In order to be clear, I think you should update the OP to mention that according to the source these two games have been in the pipeline for a while now, with Xenoblade allegedly being finished for a month...

I think it's important not to give the impression that the story here is about Op. Rainfall, when it is in fact about NoA deliberately hiding the news from its fans.

Don't buy it. According to the source Xenoblade's American version was finished by the time E3 was held last month, yet NoE was not permitted to display the game at the show because NoA "doesn't showcase games they don't plan on releasing".

there is no "american" localisation needed. all they have to do is "remove langages subs" while keeping english, french, and spanish (in the french version I played the characters were screaming in english during fights, so I guess it's only text that's translated beyond english anyways).

Same thing for Last story, confirmed in France and presented at the recent comicon in paris (part of the japan expo, I got to play with it, was still in Jap though).

Apparently samething for Pandora's Tower but I missed it (and every single camera there too).

An American localization is needed. Not an overhaul of the script but they need to change some things around, like removing the "u" from words like colour for example. XSeed is also making an "American" localization for Solatorobo too but all they need to do is change some things.

Hope this is true anyway.

oh i'm not saying the game won't come, it'd be stupid as there is only really the printing costs involved, just that I believe the leak is a fake one.
