I have never played this series but always see it mentioned as most underrated, best music, etc. One day I may have to check it out!

PSN: Saugeen-Uwo     Feel free to add me (put Vg Chartz as MSG)!

Nintendo Network ID: Saugeen-Uwo

I would assume Japan only since they mention the 'Best' line. It's not called the 'Best' in the west (lol).

Proudest Platinums:
1. Gran Turismo 5
2. Persona 4 Arena
3. Wipeout HD
4. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2
5. Super Street Fighter 4

I'd assume Japan only because that's where Gust publishes it for themselves. It's unlikely that he would be reporting the sales that other companies got of the game in other regions and those are the shipment numbers Gust would actually know.

...

It's surely Japan only.

We have the series at 334 978 copies sold to consumers in Japan and Meruru just came out so there are a lot of copies on shelves and 400k probably includes Meruru's second week (estimated at 21k).

So 40k on shelves and in shipment boxes for all 3 games makes perfect sense.

I'm wondering if the series can reach 1 million WW if we also include Atelier Elkrone (that is if it's on the PS3). Probably.

This is pretty impressive for the series though i havent played them yet.
