wow 2000 posts.... anyways good luck to anyone applying.

Playstation All-Stars is one of the best games I've played this gen, and is the most fun I've had in a game this gen.

I would try this but when I go to school this fall I probably wouldn't have enough time to be a good mod...and i'm pretty biased so I have that going against me as well lol.

Plus I'm too much a Sony fan to even be considered, and I'm already hated by many people here -don't need to give everyone else a reason to hate me too.

Awww, I'm not sure people will hate you now after knowing you have a big hands.

The more and more I think about what he said to me, the more I believe good ol' Sully was hittin' on me O_O

Plus some members here already knew I had big hands

I would actually nominate: Blacksaber, but he is already running (So I can take his DB Position :P, plus he is a pretty good poster)!

Unless Blacksaber chooses to step down from the DB position, he could be permit to hold both. Before the destaffing, I know that zexen had both banners, so it's not unheard of.

I remember when vague ban reasons were unheard of -_-

- The new gamrRewards and Points sections of 2.0 will be a strong focus for the new mod team. gamrRewards are real prizes won via the Points system, so the mod team will be crucial when it comes to monitoring that.

Can mods still participate in the program?

I mean since they are the ones checking on abuse and stuff.... I would guess yes cause admins can check them and I understood the rewards in part as being a way to reward active unpaid staff, but there's still some conflict of interest here :p

You maniacs! You blew it up!

Can we nominate people? I always thought Khuutra would make a great mod. WereKitten as well, though he mostly lurks.

I feel these two have always demonstrated a keen intellect, a broad base of knowledge, and an excellent grasp of the English language. I feel they'd both be adept at identifying when a poster should be removed from the boards, and better yet, properly and succinctly explaining why said poster deserved to have been removed, something I've felt other mods have struggled with in the past.

Honestly, I think many of those who would make the best mods are also the type of people who would not actively apply for such a position.

Edit:

Though I'm not sure if the two I mentioned would have the time to invest in such a position, given the increased workload they'll have with 2.0. That looks like a huge time investment for a volunteer position.

Good point, but since the job is  only for volunteers, the only motivation to do it is power. Even Rol knows this to be true and fully admits it. The people who do not care for the power will not apply.

Well...

Seeing as I asked and I'm not allowed

I agree with makingmusic. Khuutra would be a great mod.

Other people I think would be good are as follows -

badgenome (Seriously)
CGI-Quality
axumblade, again
Xen
yo_john117
amp316
Carl2291

Edit: Add Smeags onto that list, too.
