So, that new NIS horror game, Yomawari, has some scans up.  It's another HTOL#NIQ I think:

Looks like its going to be using a top down view. This actually makes it a bit more appealing for me since the premise of the game is looking around and exploring.

So much stuff to buy !!

Yoru no nai Kuni looking great. #1 anticipated game outside of FF15.

Damn, so many interesting vita-compatible games on EU-sale.

  • Parasite Eve: The 3rd Birthday (€10, PSP)... better start with part 2?
  • Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines (€8, Vita)... never heard of it, can you recommend it?

I've played the 3rd Birthday, it's a fun TPS game, and you don't need to play any of the previous entries to fully enjoy it. There is only this thing with the scenario and difficulty but nothing that alarming.

I'm really surprised you never heard of Oreshika ! It's the latest Sony-published vita game, it's the Over My Dead Body 2 game in Japan. Saw some gameplay on youtube, sounds like a nice J-RPG, only problem is sait to be the redundancy of its battles.

King's Field 2!!! Always wanted to play this game!!!

Aksys are announcing their Anime Expo plans tomorrow. Expecting some new game announcements from them too.

I should check Twitter more. Ryuzaki nearly always posts Vita stuff, lol

Apparently Dingo (former devs of Persona 4: Dancing All Night who were thrown off the project for whatever reason - they also made PhotoKano Kiss & Love Live! School Idol Festival) are working on an action-RPG for Vita

When I saw your post, I thought maybe they are developing an RPG for an existing IP from some publisher (NAMCO, SEGA etc...). after reading the hachima post it says an original action rpg, so new IP I guess.

Almost all their games were VNs and rhythm games. Definitely interested in seeing what they come up with.

  • Suikoden 1 + 2 (€3 each, PS1)... I liked them 20 years ago, did they age well?
  • Metal Gear Solid (€4, PS1)... did it age well, or better replay MGS2+3HD + Peace Walker?
  • Parasite Eve 2 (€3.50, PS1)... did it age well? Never played that series... where is part 1?
  • Parasite Eve: The 3rd Birthday (€10, PSP)... better start with part 2?
  • Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (€4, PS1)... did it age well?
  • Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles (€4, PSP)... better deal? S.o.t.N. included?
  • Persona 2 (€7.50, PSP)... Persona 3 + 4 are my favorite handheld games, can P2 keep up?
  • Disgaea 2 (€5, PSP)... did it age well?
  • Valkyria Chronicles 2 (€3.25, PSP)... just bought part 1 for PC... good addition?
  • Lunar: Silver Star Harmony (€3.25, PSP)... never heard of it, can you recommend it?
  • Ys Seven, Ys I+II, Ys: The Oath in Feighana (€3 each, PSP)... which one would you prefer?
  • Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines (€8, Vita)... never heard of it, can you recommend it?

Suikoden - Heard great things but never got around to trying em so can't say
MGS - I would say it didn't age great but it's playable
PE - I've been meaning to play third Birthday, but PE 1 and 2 I use to love as a kid. Oddly enough I'm not a fan of the type of game so that says alot.
Castlevania - I can't help with
P2 - I personally don't like any before 3, but it's mainly because 3 and 4 kinda pulled away from SMT and made it seem more like it's own thing. I actually dislike anything SMT that's not Persona 3 and up lol. Though the FExSMT looks interesting
Disgaea 2 - All Disgaea's are similar it all plays pretty similar, if you like disgaea you'll like this. They age as good as tactics style games could
VC2 - Love that game, it's a good addition to the series though it's still odd it came out on PSP and not PS3 lol
Lunar: Silver Star Harmony - Actually surprised you didn't hear of it. This game is one of the biggest surprise releases for PSP to me. Notperfect but the game is hands down amazing. It's a rerelease of a game on Sega CD and PSOne I believe. Definitely the best version. I highly recommend.
Ys - Depends what you want, Ys Seven is the one that is pretty similar to Ys Celceta and Ys 8's battle systems. Ys 1+2 is really a classic game if I remember correctly, fights were like bumber cars and you can just hope you are strong enough to kill everyone. Hard to explain, I'm sure I'm making it sound bad. Oath is good if you like other newer Ys but want something different.
Oreshika - Skipped because I don't trust taking the chance on it. and it's Digital only so I said screw it. I can't say if it's worth your money. Should Check a review maybe or some gameplay impressions
