also.. why is it Killzone 3 won't stream from the PS3 to the Vita? SONY themselves showed us that yet we can't with any game???? unless we hack a good system (the PS3) to run shit for a crappy system (vita).

I don't know, I played Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 online just fine.  Though that Peace Walker thing is a bit discerning, like how greedy are companies getting that they won't put Peace Walker in because it's already on the console.

Unit 13 afaik does have online but it's online Co OP. It's just the nature of the game, it's meant to be a co op based experience on the go

UMvC3 Online works FLAWLESSLY! no delays ghosting etc etc...

MNR should have had online mp..no Q about it..the ball was dropped there.

I don't care what others say but I personally don't think UC MP would have been a good idea..the nature of the MP is much much different and would have been a disaster

what are these emty promises you speak of exactly? the console JUST launched ffs. with 30 or more games! With games covering almost all genre. I have played only two  extensively so far and love both of them. Seriously what is this no games in 2 years bs? Vita owners have more games at launch than the fucking 3ds had for the first 10 months! New games of known IPs, Great quality ports, NEW IPs..and we have yet to get games like Gravity and LBP and more will follow.

The OS will change and evolve with time..but I don't see what's wrong with leaving them as apps. Easy to use, close etc. OS will change I gurantee it.

Only if you promise you won't praise it when Uncharted 2 gets released with online play? :P

Anyway, Vita is getting some great games. Quality is not a question (minor some mistakes like the ones you guys are talking about, but that's nitpicks at best). Sales are, but even for that (in the west) is too early to tell/predict/complain. They're fine and will mantain healthy numbers, imo.

oh for sure. IF they are to add MP for PSV UC games then the nature of the MP must be overhauled imho. The current MP won't play that well

Iffy on the analogue sticks... noticed I kept having it tilted down one way in Rayman when I didn't mean to. Switched to D-pad in the end, sure I'll get used to them though. Never had a PSP though so I'd imagine I'm just not feeling the huge improvement that they actually are on whatever that thing had... certainly prefer them to whatever the 3DS had when I gave it a whirl too.

Speakers seem quiet too, but will mainly use headphones anyway.

Rayman looks absolutely stunning on the thing too, for all people complain about the things size and whatnot. The fact is Sony gave the Vita an absolutely amazing screen and the size and refinement on it absolutely nulifies any complaints you can put against it.

 Lol, I did find some enjoyment in trying to get the trophies though. I devised a pretty epic strategy and got really good at it - ended up getting the one you needed to get under 50 seconds in in like 39 seconds lol.

 It wasn't that bad once you really thought about what to do.

By the way, mlb the show has full online from what ive experienced.

As for the empty promises, for me the big one is remote play for ps3 games. Then you have ps1 downloads and umd transfer program.

Went to go use a $10 off coupon at Gamestop. But then saw an old Wipeout box advertising the price at $30. Went ahead and snatched the box and got them to match their own advertised price. Got $10 and kept my coupon.

It's been out for less than three months. Less than one in most markets. Anyone who legitimately expected everything to be on line from launch was either deliberately setting themselves up for disappointment or completely oblivious to how gaming platforms have been working since the advent of firmware updates. Just look at the 3DS for the nearest example, or the PS3 for anyone who's actually owned one long enough to remember how bare bones the feature set was back in 2006. 

That's like complaining about the catalog of games on a new platform because there aren't 100+ games available at retail on launch day. 

While I don't think PSOne soft compatibility is a big priority for SCE, I wouldn't be surprised to see it up and running by summer if not earlier. 

Same goes for remote play PS3 titles although that's really conditional on which developers want to add support to their old titles. In the future, I don't doubt that it will be used to help push cross play between the PS3 and PSV, just like in all those simulated commercials. 

The UMD transfer program was never going to happen outside of Japan. Get over it. Would I have jumped on the opportunity to ditch the last of my UMDs? Hell yeah. Was I expecting to? After the PSP Go transfer program failed to gel, hell no.
