By bashing I don't mean he necessarily didn't bring it on himself, the word just happens to fit.

It is just interesting on how much attention Leo-J gets. Maybe that is why he sticks around?

I've always defended nintendo even with the Virtual Boy. I play the other guys but I'm a loyalist in the end and if it comes down to me buying only one system 99.99999% chance it'll be Nintendo. I'll be here till I decide to stop coming here regardless of who's in the lead. Yeah you're right though.. people come to hold your hand when you're winning then drop you when you're losing I respect people who hold to theirs even if they're not polite about it.

at all of you saying go easy on leo-j, wouldn't you feel mad if someone was posting comments like "i wish the 360 didn't sell microsoft doesn't deserve it"?
i noticed it a lot lately from him, dissing the wii with rude comments and post, but i kept cool about it. but now it's just plain out making me sick!

With respect to everyone and leo-j (and any extreme mentality. That includes Nintendo fans they just have the upper hand at the moment,) remember, name calling does nothing but cause hard feelings and make you look like an idiot.

Engage these people in intellectual debate over their claims and they will crash and burn on their own.

Why all the hype? Brandname shift caused by DS in the later half of 2005, and fully completely in early 2006 thnx to DS Lite among other games such as New Super Mario Bros, Brain Training, and Pokemon D/P. This brandname shift lead the way for Wii, and been that way ever since. Wii didn't need to do anything but release with Nintendo on the front. Luckily through for them the Wii series, thx to Wii Sports, ahs become just as collosal in brandname appeal as in Nintenod themselves, ensuring it'll be around for awhile.

As for games there are plenty haha.

dude, i know what you are saying. but, after a while all this dissing really gets on everyone's nerves. i like and have all 3 consoles. i don't consider anyone of them better than the other! and i certainly don't go posting comment like "i wish the wii sales would drop nintendo doen't deserve the success" or "i wish ps3 sales would drop"!!! people who post comments like this obviously are troublesome people who have problems and are to much into this "console war"!! leoj just needs to take a break from the site until he can get himself straight!if he doesn't want to shape up, he can leave!!

The reality is the majority of people in the world have poor taste and just go with what the majority do. The wii despite having the worst games out of the 3 consoles still sells the best like britney spears sells many millions of records despite having a below average voice and adam sandler films sell despite him not being able to act himself out of a wet paper bag.

If that were true, the GC would have started selling at wii rates in late 2005, which didn't happen.

You can't write off the merrits of the Wii as a very enjoyable entertainment device driving its sales, at least not completely.

@daaactualfact:  I understand, but I attribute a lot of it to his age and immaturity.  No with any sort of matured reasoning makes comments like that, and its better to help these people become intelligent thinking adults than to bash them and make them jaded.

Strongly emphasizing their utter lack of real reasoning ability is no problem by me though :), though outright insults do nothing.
