Forums - Gaming Discussion - L. A. Noire might just be the greatest game ever made.

I like the game very much and respect your opinion but it's definitely not the greatest game ever made and does not deserve a 9.8/10.

It's an 8.5/10 MAX.

The game reminds me of Heavy Rain alot and Heavy Rain is the better game.

Greatest Game Ever Made = Uncharted 2 =P

I'm having a great time with it but I gotta say I expected the dialogues to be a bit more complex. The "Truth, Doubt, Lie" logic is too simple for my taste and not that realistic as you might claim...

If the game had a dialogue logic as in Bioware games or at least Heavy Rain, and then, at the end of a more rich and complex conversation you had to decide in terms of Truth, Doubt and Lie, then I might be more passionate about the game.

Would you really play through Uncharted 2 a second time?

I disagree with your statement but I respect it nontheless ^^

I love how people are "respectfully disagreeing" and not bashing me like I expected. I thought people would come in here and just go "noob, COD is teh leetzors!" :P

I know, a lot of people aren't that happy with the game. I'm just a different kind of gamer with a different kind of belief in what a good game should be.

You should try at Game Faqs if you want that kind of reaction.

One issue my friend had while playing was *SPOILER ALERT kinda*is, the suspects always run, and they always seem like every person is the killer *END SPOILER kinda*

I liked the game from what iv seen...

they really do always run. you watch the news? :P i'm sure this was even more common in the 40s because there weren't any high tech ways to catch a criminal yet.

and every person always 'seems' like the killer too, because there can be a lot of motives to a case. the truth can only be found if evidence is examined closely. that's also true in real life. if my rich mother died and all her sons hate her, every single one of us is suspect to the crime.

If the person didnt kill her, why the hell would they just take off like they DID kill her...not only one guy runs, but every suspection takes off like they are the killer...

wow!

L.A. Noire is awesome so far! I just found a blog that's giving out the DLC for all the extra cases!

I just got my Slip Of The Tongue Case DLC, but I don't know if there's anymore DLC codes left. If you want to check it out, here's the site:
