To bad its not on PC, so im not getting it. Good looking game though.

isn't there something else you could be doing beside trolling?

I appreciate you talking about the game and such, but if you're going to start throwing "i hate the ps3 and im selling mine" etc etc into every single thread under the guise of paying a compliment, it's going to get old real quick.

It definatly looks like a great game.. I just don't see any lasting value in it though....

Nice first review.  Can't wait for this to come out.

Ditto on this.

Is this more linear than GTA or is it just GTA in the 1920s?

this is the type of game that will get passes by most reviewers.

im not saying its score is undeserved, just that this type of game will have its flaws over looked just because of what it is...

different? i dont know but games like this a portal will get passes. while other more common games will be nitpicked like crazy

Another review!

OXM UK: 10/10

We are so lucky to have such amazing games this year! I'm just done with Portal 2 and now L.A. Noire!

I think the setting looks boring, but then again I thought Red Dead Redemption looked boring being a Cowboy game and it turned out to be one of my favorites all time. I'm one who tends to agree with most review averages so if the meta stays really high I will have to try this.

I mean it is crazy to never try new things so, heres to a great game.

I have a feeling in terms of reviews the game is going to be VERY high on Metacritic.

I do wonder though if it will be able to see similar success in sales to Red Dead Redemption. Either way it looks simply fantastic.

While I hope they are, I believe they shouldn't.

L.A. Noire took 7 years to make and if IGN and other outlets reviews of GT5 are anything to go by, this game should get docked point because of the dev time.

Utterly utterly ridiculous.

OT: 2 perfect score so far, bodes well!

I wonder how it is going to hold up long-term, and whether it will be showing up in the used games bing in large numbers after a month or two.  Saleswise, it could end up going the way Alan Wake had, and people be surprised it didn't sell the millions that they were expecting it to.  Will see...

I believe it is set in the 1940s.  Also, it isn't supposed to be a sandbox game, so it won't be quite like GTA.  The idea is to make one feel they are in a noire detective story, thus the title.  Rockstar doesn't only do sandbox games, eventhough that is what they are noted for.
