Wait one goddamn second.

Why is everyone and their mom bitching about a SF64 remake, and yet at the same time they're letting Nintendo get away with releasing OoT for the FIFTH time?

What the hell? Screw you internet peoples!

Because OoT is actually a worthy Sequel.

Yeah, maybe if you're a newbie. All old vets agree that OoT is a lame remake of ALTTP. If Nintendo's going to remake ooT, they might as well remake the BETTER ORIGINAL ALTTP.

Just like remaking SF instead of SF64. ALTTP could use an epic remake.

You're really reaching for points here, since even I will admit that LttP is the better game. I just feel that it made a better transition to 3D than SF64.

EDIT: Capcom already made an epic remake of LttP.

Nah I'm just having fun. What is this capcom game you're talking about? It's not that PS3 game is it? Dot heroes...or something..I forgot.

In related news, Miyamoto is extremely interested in doing an lttp remake, so it's fairly likely we might actually see it on the 3DS as well. =)

I genuinely hope he manages to make something I enjoy. I'm not trying to be an arsehole, here.

By the way, the remake (actually, it's a port. I'm having fun too) in question was a bonus with the GBA version of Four Swords Adventures. The epicness comes from actually bringing the game to modern audiences, lol. I was fucking gutted that it wasn't on the collector's edition, since I consider it to be the pinnacle of the series, even today.

WHERE IS MY KORORINPA 3

A while ago, I read that Nintendo WAS planning a remake of Starfox!  They call it Starfox 64.

Anyhoo, I was one of those kids that had Starfox back in 1993.  I marveled at the power of the Super FX chip.  I laughed in the face of my Genesis owning neighbor.  Eventually, I grew the F up.  Nostalgia, plain and simple.  The original Starfox was "fly from point a to point b while shooting some poolygons with yourcrappy power up.  SF 64 improved EVERYTHING (except the music).  Star Wolf, Peppy analyzing the enemies, all range mode, the awesome Blue Marine and Land Master, the Independence Day inspired battle, chasing that train, multiple ways of taking down bosses, a story--what did Starfox offer?  A fight inside a space-washing machine?  Flat environments?

No, SF 64 is the right choice.

Dammit!  Some of you already pointed out that SF64 is a remake!  I wanted to remind everyone of that.  Serves me right for only reading the first 25 posts.

It's alright, honey. You understand that THE MUSIC WAS FUCKING AWESOME, and that's the important thing.

WHERE IS MY KORORINPA 3

SF is already remade it. It's called SF64.

Sorry for bad English.

the first starfox never was a great game. it only had the surprising (for the SNES) 3D Graphics. SF64 is the best starfox game ever. i played that game to death on both N64 and virtual console and i'm going to rebuy it again on 3DS on D1.

i don't get malstrom anymore. i liked him when he talked about disruption and blue ocean but  i totally disagree with his "2D nintendo games were better" nonsense.

Am I a rarity. I played StarFox on SuperNes but never finished the game. I liked it, rented it a few times and played at friends houses but never really got into the game. StarFox64 was bought by a friend and I went over to his house all the time and played. I actually beat StarFox64 and I loved the voice acting, Falco's constant bragging and Slippy's constant "I need help" it was the first game with voice acting where I actually enjoyed it. Infact their aren't that many voice acted games that I like let alone love like I do StarFox64.

I just hope this remake allows saving and replaying levels freely when ever you want. I hated playing a few hours just to be sent back to the beginning to play again. Also having to unlock levels again and again and again.

I don't really remember the SNES sound track much either. It may have been epic but I prefered StarFox64.

Starfox Adventures is the best starfox game.
