Forums - PC Discussion - Anybody wants to play Portal (PC) co-op??

Hey I'm looking for VGC peep(s) to play Portal 2 co-op on Steam with. The game is dam great, and I heard the co-op is a whole new set of puzzles to explore.

So instead of playing with some randoms, anyone wants to get some sessions in??

My Steam ID: blunty51

I would...if damn PSN wouldn't be down. I can't activate my PC copy because of it ^^

Really?? I didn't know they were linked like that. At least it's supposed to come back this week

Yep, you have to log in on the PS3 and activate it there and then you can activate it on Steam (PC). If only PSN had gone down a bit later, I could have installed it to my PC :(

Oh yes I remember that, and even up to now I thought that it was exclusive deal to something or the other. I should have just bought the dam PS3 version, would have found more ppl to play with. Is it true the PS3 vers. can play with ppl on the PC vers.?

Yes, and I can tell you that the exact same reason I want to be able to play deathmatch against console users, I hate being paired with someone using a console. Thankfully the PSN has been down lately so I don't have to put up with as many idiots. Plenty of idiots to go around still, but at least there are no cases of slow reponse when quick action is needed, oropen mics so I can hear everything that is going on in a living room. I HATE co-op with console owners, that is what I have learned from this.

Hmm...it's the very reason I bought the PC ver in the first place. In the single player campaign I've already met some areas where quick accurate responses are needed to get the portal in place, and having no desire to do it with dual analog.

Was wondering though, if I play with someone who has already played the co-op campaign, wouldn't that sorta prompt them to tell you what to do, as opposed to learning it on your own?
