I think Microsoft will win next gen. cause they have a huge Hardcore base and are moving outmarket with Things that never have been done. New revenu. Like Apple for example. Find a new Market and open up shop.
Only way Nintendo win's next gen is if they Keep Rushing outward and make a tone of Nintendo games By the looks of 3DS I dont think thats what they plan.
No company is making any money now a days staying in the core. Doing the same crap its been doing for 20 years. Sony will will see no growth.

Long term is something Sony longs for, and we can't forget the ps3 which will be selling gang busters in all the developing nations like the ps2 was, future looks bright for Sony |

Who would have guessed wii ll sell like this, 360 sell so much, or ps3 be in third place. I say anything can happen, next box being the first or wii2 being the last, or ps4 being the first. I think N ll not enter core fight with sony(and now ms) cause in past ey failed, so i think ey ll try to make balance between casual and core, inclining to casual.
PS4 DoA confirmed(!) What I wonder is how the hell did it go from next generation discussion to last years Kinect advertisement budget, trolls these days.

I'd have to by a Nintendo PoiPoi (or whatever) instead of a Playstation 5, it'd be terrible.
Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.
IF this happened (which is highly unlikely because I don't see Sony doing this again), then I predict LT sales (after 7 years) to be:
Wii2-105mil
720- 65mil
PS4- 48mil
So the 720 doing about the same as the 360, Wii2 down about 7mil and the PS4 down about 12mil...

I never understood why Sony got soooo much good press and why the Wii (and, to a lesser extent, the 360) were 'doomed to fail' EVERY.YEAR
Sales trends show that the PS3 won't last 10 years, if it does it will be down to around PS2 levels now, and Sony will be in a real difficult situation...
I'd just like, for once, for the hate to be lifted from Nintendo, heck, ALL the companies and just admit that this gen has been successful for all companies. This year has been very close sales-wise, and because of the quality of all 3 consoles, that's how it should have been...
