For anyone who might care, the "gut" feeling I mentioned earlier in thread was based on a sense that NPD would have Wii / PS3 around 400k - wasn't completely sure X360 would top that.

Lol, I should have been typing in here, not the main article. 
But anyway, looks like the PS3 is doing much healthier in the US than many thought. YAY! Looks like PS3 MAY have pulled off ~450K for Feb, so on par with the Wii. Which means we may be undertracking the PS3 by about 150K (or more) for all of Americas for the month of Feb, or ~ 35K a week. Something tells me if this continues, and VGC accounts for this, PS3 is going to be posting some numbers from now on in Americas that is very similar to the 360's.
And it also looks like KZ3 launched on par with KZ2 in Americas, not below like previously believed. This is great. And it proves that interest in KZ3, and PS3 exclusives in general, is very much alive. Well, at least in America. 
Unless there are further adjustments to other regions, of course.
And glad to see gaming in general is up YOY. In the 5th/6th year of this gen, but still going strong.

Well, you got me on the days. And true KZ3 was down in the States, but something tells me the other regions in Americas probably compensated for that, giving KZ3 a similar first week to KZ2. But still, you are right, not exactly on par.
And we don't know how much the PS3 is undertracked, since we don't have the hard numbers for it, so it could be 150K or more. Besides, I said ~ 150K, which 130K should fall into.
