Forums - Gaming Discussion - Therapist - "Two hours of gaming is like one line of cocaine"

Well gaming can be addicting but not in the same level of consuming drugs. I like playing like crazy but when the time to study for exams comes, I stop playing and start studying, the same goes for party nights. Plus last time I heard videogames are not bad for your health.

That´s why I never play more than one hour and 55 minutes!!! I am not a junkye gamer!

PSN: franco-br
MGS4, GH, MW2, GT5p, WipeoutHD, etc..etc..

fox news again. we should sue them.

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

So I've been a coke addict all my life it seems...but thanks to this article, I now know that I can just snort a line instead of grinding two hours to get my fix.

Thank you, Stevey-weevey!

Less time investment, sure, but the coke costs more. It's fiscally irresponsible for today's thrifty cokehead.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Why are the arguments against gaming so terribly weak and ridiculous?

"I don't understand how someone could like Tolstoy and Dostoyevsky, but not like Twilight!!!"

"Last book I read was Brokeback Mountain, I just don't have the patience for them unless it's softcore porn."

"If you cant stand the sound of your own voice than dont become a singer !!!!!"

Naaaaa, Charlie Sheen is the real silent drug that is killing our generation.

I'm sorry Mr. Therapist. I spent 2 and a half hours yesterday networking a couple computers to play Doom2 multiplayer and I didn't walk away high.

gaming can be addicting and yes not only world of warcraft. one of my friends destroyed his life with videogames. hes without work for 5 years now and he's very intelligent. he has no friends anymore, he didn't have a girlfriend since i know him and he's doing nothing than playing and sleeping.

he is 30 and i don't even know if he ever had a girlfriend  or other friends than me but that all doesn't change the fact that gaming isn't as bad as drugs and i will never believe that someone kills his school mates just because he played cod...

but you don't need gaming to end up like your friend

take your pick of many men that end up like that who have never played a console in their life

nobody to blame but yourself if you f*cked up your life, whatever that entails anyway, there are plenty of so called successfull men who are complete wankers to everyone around them
