Because there are absolutely no PS2 games on the PSN.  Only PS3 games like GoW collection made the cut.  When/if they redo it, I'm sure it'll be there.

I didn't think it was bad game imo. It was just plagued with technical issues and such. If it wasn't for that, the game would have been a much bigger critical success than what it turned out to be.

But I think I'd really like a full-fleged remake using the KZ3 engine instead, that would be awesome.

Sadly, I doubt it. The Killzone franchise isn't exactly the biggest money maker for sony. And I don't think there would be enough demand from fans for a remake to ever see the light of day.

I never played and going from the single person I actually know that had played it, he said it really wasn't good.  It was one of those games that didn't necessarily leave a bad taste in your mouth, there was just no reason to ever remember it.  Completely forgettable in every way.

That's probably why they've never bothered.

I've beat it. It is a decent game but it is pretty buggy. I would say it has a better story than Halo 1 but Halo has better game play. I think it's worth at least 20 bucks though. The best FPS series had to start somewhere after all :)

It was nowhere near well-received enough to really warrant a re-release. Really, only a small minority actually enjoyed it. I would rather they focused on getting the real classics onto PS3 format, which they've started to do with God of War and Ico/SoTC.
