But...you have to consider that Tekken, which used to be a Sony exclusive, only serves as an antidote for ps1 and 2. Tekken 6, released on both 360 and PS3, had it's power reduced by half, causing both consoles to flail at about the same pace but still saving both from complete failure.

Clearly Tekken is no longer the ridge racer antidote, something with more power has to save the 3DS, that power is the Ocarina of Time.

I don't remember the Wii having Ridge Racer in Japan.

Looks like the 3DS is indeed doomed... :(

I wonder what made me put option number 3.

Didn't the original DS launch with Ridge Racer?

Indeed it did. And with no Tekken game to counter it. Now we just need to work out what saved that system from the Ridge Racer curse and see if the 3DS has anything comparable to cure its d0medness.

Hopefully it can't.

DS had Ridge Racer w/o Tekken and it came first so thread invalid. And Ridge Racer is awesome btw so don;t hate. Ridge Racers on the PSP is still one of the best games and that is why Ridge Racer will be my first 3DS game. Such a reliable launch franchise.

Ridge Racer!!!

Sorry, I had to be that guy.

After rigorous thought and deep reflection, I'll go with answer number five.
