Yes, the Tea Party would really want to kill a pro-gun, anti-illegal immigration Blue Dog Democrat.

It's pretty sickening how so many people fly off all half-cocked in their desperation to make political hay out of such a horrible incident.

Well, I don't know about "killing her", they campaigned VERY strongly against her.  Your comment “hints” at the fact that the Tea Party was actually happy to have her win…or maybe I’m just missing your point, if you have one.

I haven't see this verified yet, but it has been reported that the shooter was Jared Loughner and this is a video that is supposedly from him:

Unless the United States has a new Tin-Foil hat party, I don't think it would be reasonable to blame this incident on any political party.

Something has to be done about conservative terrorism in America.  First Muslims and now Republicans are joining the act.  Sadly, given both their lack of morals and low intelligence, I can't say that I am suprised.

The problem in America is the politicians have essentially distanced themselves from the common person.  This is no longer a country where we are all equal.  Politicians are constantly and consistently above the average person in all aspects of life and this plays out on a daily basis.

The problem with this,  is that they actually start voting and making decisions based on this twisted world view.  With little insight into their actual constituents.

no, it's because they are taking orders from the corporations and special interests that fund their campaigns, that's why politicians don't work for the average person.

My point is that people immediately began pointing the finger at the Tea Party and gun rights groups before anything at all was known about the shooter. I'm sure they campaigned against her, but so what? No one blames the Daily Kos for this rather unfortunately worded post.

Yes, you're absolutely right. Which results in what I stated above.  A situation where the common person doesn't matter.  A situation where the person with the most money lining their pockets does.

You're right.  The guy was apparently an atheist with some issue with the government in general.  Not related to a specific political party at all.

Apparently she does this yearly(have a little speech or whatever on the side of the road, not get shot >_>). Last year someone came and dropped a gun and was gotten by the cops. I'm not sure if it was the same person or not but it's interesting...
