Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Mario All Starts to be reprinted

My boyfriend ordered this from amazon for me for xmas. Unfortunately it was from tiger direct, a company that never had them in stock to begin with. After weeks of aggrivation from a horrible company that out-right lies, the order was cancelled by amazon (without our knowing) and he was given a refund. It would be nice to have another chance at owning this...

I do too, but my SNES is packed away in a closet and the collectible stuff that the game game with was actually pretty cool.  Usually the stuff that comes with a game sucks, but not this time.

Ha, you should check out the gamrreview for Super Mario All-Stars.

Wow...

I don't think I could disagree with that review more.

Isn't it a Limited Edition thing for Mario's 25th Anniversary?

Wouldn't a reprint of it actually go against what it was released for in the first place, and be more of a milking the userbase thing?

Yeah but it's more $$$, which is what Nintendo go for, obviously, as a business.

I forgive you for thinking otherwise though, given people like to pretend Nintendo arnt like every other company and their love for fans come before money ...

As they like to do with pretty much every other company.

Besides, you can love both your money and your fans, can't you, ;)?

On topic, I don't see why it was limited edition in the first place. I'm glad they are considering reprinting it though - I still haven't got it and I'd rather not pay over 300% of recommended price for it.

They still underestimate the appeal of 2D Mario?

Why wouldn't they? It's practically free money. That's not something Nintendo is known to let sitting around...

Bah!

What a cheap cash in.

Nintendo really needs to put out new platformers this generation.  Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2,  New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Wario Land: Shake It!!!, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Kirby's Epic Yarn don't count.

Why?  I don't know.

I just like to troll on the Wii for no reason because it's fun.

Unless they get the "artistic" bug and give us Other M.

And there need to be more FPS on the 360. God knows we don't have enough. And where are my DS and PSP RPGs?
