I proudly agree...and the multiplatform titles it's getting are nothing short of amazing as well...If a person hasn't got a PS3 yet,2011 is certainly the best damn time to buy one,especially if it gets a price-cut.

I think PS3 owners are in for a stellar year of gaming.  Surely 90% of the great games of 2011 (not counting the Wii's hits) will be playable on their system--including the highly coveted PS3 exclusives.  That's way more important than whether or not the PS3 is able to overtake the 360.  If it does, fine.  If not, that's fine, too.  What's important now is making a profit, keeping the gamers happy, and pushing the industry forward.

How sequels to games that were released a couple of years ag will suddenly drive sales is....could my grammer be any worse?  Anyway, I don't see these games driving console sales but I expect each one of them to sell very well (2-5million plus, each).  Good news for Sony and gamers, alike.

Every strong sequel create additional sales through advertising campaigns. Not directly because people want that game but by simply increasing number of ads with that platform in tv.

Because you can obviously see into the future. I bet 2012 will have a good lineup, just not as good. I could see Last Guardian, Twisted Metal, FF13VS, Agent, Ratchet and Clank All4One, alongside Starhawk and Sly 4.

no i cant see in the future but i can use my brain and look at the possibilities for 2012. twisted metal and ratchet and clank all 4 one are confirmed for a 2011 release. and when i ment weak i ment it relative to its 2011 line up.

Based on the way things look, I doubt Ratchet and Clank All4One will make it for 2011. Insomniac already has Resistance 3 announced AND dated. Same with UC3. Also, you have to take into account e3, which will probably announce a few new games for 2012. Who knows, I thought 2010 had an untoppable lineup, yet 2011 seems to top it, so whats stopping 2012(other than the most obvious reason)?

you are considering delays im not. again look at the possibilities for the 2012 line up it wont be as big as the 2011. ofcourse e3 will announce more titles. but 2011 has strength in numbers and in franchise.

killzone, resistance, uncharted,infamous, socom, little big planet, motorstorm, ratchet and clank, and twisted metal. 2012 isnt going to have that strenght.

Of course, you assume none of them will get delayed, which is inevitable. Besides, I would prefer new ips anyways. Every great franchise has to start somewhere.

ofcourse some will get delayed, but im looking at it right now, and currently no title has been delayed. so if any gets delayed ofcourse their would be a change.

i love new ips, gg will probably release on in 2012.
