im just wondering cuz ive been out of the gaming loop for about 4 years until last christmas when i got a ps3, im just on the verge of getting to level 7 and i just want to see if im on pace with the rest of the gaming world

I just got it, when i got my first platinum (sly 1, very easy to do so).

I have had my PS3 since before trophies, but I really don't go for them.

I got it around 3 months after buying my PS3, when I platted Dead Space. 

about a year, had it since launch but didnt play literally anything in 2010 untill about november 

Not long. I'm almost to 14 now. It is taking quite a while to get that far. Maybe 2-3 games can get you to 7 easily.

BTW I have 19 Platinums thus far.

A little over half a year for me. Wait until level 13. I was stuck there for about 9 months.

I felt i was stuck at the end of level 12 for months, now i'm on level 13. and i've still got about 5 games to platinum so i guess i could go up to level 14, but its going to take ages!

Took me alot of time because I played several games non compatible with trophies. I got it this summer when I platinumed GOW3/inFamous and Uncharted.

It took me about 7-8 months. I got my ps3 back in september of last year.

Level 7? Gosh, no time at all honestly. I got my PS3 in February of 2009. But ever since I got another Xbox 360 at Christmas in December of 09 I haven't played as much as I used too. So if I do the math I reached Level 7 around 3-4 months of casual play.
