- No point even tracking GT5 against MH3tri now...

- Wii holiday boost coming into effect.

- PSP numbers are outta this world!

- Pokemon B&W over 4.5 million!

- Tales of Graces PS3 first week bigger than Tales of Graces Wii lifetime...  Bet Namco is regrets that decision of releasing it against FFXIII last year.

Now, I'm wondering how Donkey Kong will do in Japan and can't wait to see MHP3 and PSP numbers next week.

 I think they regret releasing it on the wrong console more than anything. Same goes with ToV.

First ToV outsells the 360 version LTD... In Week 1... Then Graces F outsells the Wii version LTD in Week 1.

Goes to show where the fanbase for the Tales games are really. That's why they've FINALLY started making the PS3 Exclusive Tales.

For comparison sake for the tales series

[PS3] Tales of Vesperia (Bandai Namco) - 216,593
[PS3] Tales of Graces F (Bandai Namco) - 215,187

Graces F was released against MHP3 on the same week.  I think the PS3 just has more of the Tales fanbase than the Wii or 360.

"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY."  --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials

PSP: 323k

PSP Go: 1.8k

Wow, that's quite a huge disparity. So there was no MHP3 for the Go? (psn store?)

starcraft: "I and every PS3 fanboy alive are waiting for Versus more than FFXIII.
Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."

JRPG fanbase is on PS3.

* Final Fantsy XIII
* Tales of
* Valkyria Chronicles
* Star Ocean

And others.

I dunno if a huge release on handheld would matter as much or have the same effect.  But after looking at Nox's post, it does indeed look like the Tales fanbase is definitely on PS3 AND PSP, especially now that I've gone back to compare the sales to Tales games on Wii and DS.
