lol @ tryin' to make it sound like it's undertracked when in fact it isn't even in the database to begin with.

It is in the database, there is just no sales data so it doesn't appear in the "VGChartz" area. It's in the gamrReview area.

For some reason, VGC haven't had any data at all from any stores they track in Europe. It released on the PC on the 9th November, and the 360 on 12th November.

Ok, that explains why it didn't show up when I did a search.

day 1 buy for me on my 360.

Not to criticize vgchartz or anything (because they still do very good work and provide numbers free of charge) it seems that if the game is only released in mainland Europe vgchartz tend to ''forget'' to track it. Same happened with PES when it released in mainland Europe week before in UK. This is pretty odd.

What is more puzzling about this... Is that it hasn't been tracked at all by VGC.

Why?

I'm wondering too - I can understand that VGC has no real-life data from little east european markets but Germany is huge and makes up a big part of EU sales.

This is one of the most interesting news of the week and at the same time it reveals one of the few weaknesses of VGC (PAL sales seem to be only counted from the date a game releases in UK).

I hope the 1 million units already sold in Europe are somewhat included in the VGC database once the game releases in USA/UK on January 25th.

I'm pretty psyched obviously but 1m seems optimistic even to me.  Maybe shipped or including strong PC sales as well as the twins?  The delay sucks but maybe it will have some kinks worked out through a patch by then.  VGC will get it straightened out.  They must be up to their eyeballs right about now.   Some of the previews were pretty positive but nothing from the E.U. gets decent metas.  An 8 would be a triumph.  Seems odd I still can't find a review.

I really think Southpeak have to go.  The NA delay is about solving their legal problems so our pre-orders don't get seized in transit imo.  Topware took over U.K. and Ireland just in case.  One more spinouncment from SP claiming it's all about the quality and the fans and I'm gonna yak.

2011 is looking like another expensive year.  Dead Space 2, LA Noire,  Dragon Age 2 and this in the first two months.

I don't see a track for it on VGC strange,

VGC has made a mistake on PES 2011 sales count (selling #1M in EMEAA & #700.000 In Japan but the overall is 1.5 M) it can't be it's like 1.8M right now at least.

Vgchartz often undertrack Europe, i can't prove it, but i know in my gut that some games do better here than is tracked. Also, in countries like Germany and Scandivia, PC is number 1 and they never track PC sales.

I'm not surprised it did well. At my local gamestop, you got a REAL FREAKIN' SWORD if you bought it.

I LOVE ICELAND!
