btw what happened to the most talked about game that was the reason that MOVE was the best thing in the world

you know that "sorcer" game or whatever it was?  did that ever come out?  where is it?

Sorcery is coming out April 1st in NA and EU according to wiki, what ever happend to that really good kinect game where you could walk normally and was a full feldge game not just mini game collections, oh wait...

kinect does seem like just minigames and party games, but hell those are fun.  what were you expecting?  were you thinking with kinect you would dive around the room and hide behind couches while playing a FPS?

the main thing though is that KINECT is still around and heard of.  is seen, talked about, on commercials.  Hell if it weren't for the Ocasional and i mean ocasional mention of move on this site, i would have not even thought it had come out yet.  the wii was thought to have been a fad or become a fad or whatever for years.  still never understood how something can be so popular for 3 years and still be expected to be a fad.   But do you know.... wait let me stop in my thinking.   Was going to saythe MOVE was a fad, but it has to be succesful first to be a fad right?

the kinect at least has a chance to be a fad right now, becuase it met the first requirement.  being succesful and a hit.

Sony's whole thing is quality products, they make profit off that

And no other company doesn't take quality into consideration?

Need I recall the need to flip hot PS1s upside down to get them to read discs? The PS2 wasn't exactly reliable either in terms of prolonged use...

All of them have their quality issues.

I didn't say that I didn't even imply that, I might have implied MS doesn't but thats about it, and they may of had some quality issues but it was always within industry standards unlike the 360

And they're both terrible when compared to Nintendo. Sony shattered quality issue records as soon as they came into the gaming industry, so I wouldn't go talking about quality if I were you.

I'm not convinced of that, and they were always within electronic standards unlike MS

10% is an embarassment for a company that specialises in ELECTRONICS...

http://au.gamespot.com/news/6216691.html

if 10% is an embarsement, whats 68%?

Fabrication.

Besides, I'm not talking about Microsoft here. I didn't question their integrity as a maker of electronics, but as soon as you start to spout that Sony has quality hardware, you should prepared to defend it by itself and not against others.

PS2 also would break with a stiff wind....

What are you talking about everyone is talking about move support for KZ3, and Move isn't a fad it's a controller and it's going to keep selling long after kinect bites the dust, Kinect was hyped and advertised so it will sell, Move will sell slowly and continued to sell Kinect sales will be in the toilet in 3-6 months

10% isn't an embaresment it's well within industry standards especially with cutting edge technology, and the 68% wasn't fabrication, the within industry standards MS spouted several times and the numbers they produced to the public was the fabrication

Once again, resorting to "at least it's better than <insert other here>". I'll highlight the fallacies of your argument:

1. You have provided no credible sources to base your argument/figures from

2. When comparing industry standards, you do not compare rates against competitors. You compare it against a set bar relative to all electronics. A standard failure rate for electronics should not be any more than 2%. Yes, Microsoft violates that too, but that doesn't mean Sony is totally innocent from it. In that regard, BOTH are guilty of junk hardware.

10%   how is that not an embarasment.  How is that an industry standard?  man i hate to think that a product i buy has a 10% chance of breaking down.  thats horrible.

no one is talkinga bout move kz3 either.  quit kidding yourself.  and what about 3D kz?  i ain't hearing jack about 3d at all in ps3 either.  all i hear is about games when ps3 is talked about.  move and 3d are gimmicks that are ignored on it.  not one talks about either.

all i do is go to game sites and scan the headings for one that interest me, i go to this site and scroll to bottom and see the most recent 20 or whatever forum topics and click on those that interest me, ect.

and i can not recal the last time i have seen one that has even REMOTELY mention move or 3d at all.  i see kinect related things, and i see 3ds (obviously).   Why has sony's ps3's move and 3d been all but forgotten?  does no one have them?

1. and gamespot is credible? lol, you want a source here http://gamer.blorge.com/2008/09/06/in-depth-expos-reveals-microsofts-xbox-360-failure-rate-was-68/

2. and your source of the industry failrate, as well as the timeframe for said failrate and your proof of ps3/ps2/ps1 being outside the industry standard well within the timeframe is where?

dont know, dont care (well actually i do want move to succeed). all i care about is the i have 2 move controller and one navigation controller, and i love playing killzone with it.
