It's been a long time, what could be the reason of why Nintendo is returning to the CES???

The International CES will return to Las Vegas from January 6-9, 2011.

Exhibitors will present their products across 9,800 square feet within the Gaming Showcase. Located in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Gaming Showcase will feature advancements in online gaming and gaming-related product debuts in both hardware and software -- from online PC and HD gaming, plasma HDTV to surround sound and power conditioning hardware. Nintendo returns as an exhibitor to CES for the first time in 16 years.

"With the gaming market expected to generate $20.3 million in 2010, the International CES is the must-stop hub for innovative gaming products, and will allow CES attendees to experience the future of gaming from an amazing range of innovative companies," said Karen Chupka, senior vice president, events and conferences, CEA. "The Gaming Showcase at CES will feature the hottest gaming trends for the coming year.

Yes there's a typo in the title

Around the Network

Probably to hype up the 3DS.

Nintendo will announce the Super Wii (if they do) at E3...

I was going to say there's a typo in the title.

Also, hoping for Wii 2!!

there will not be a Wii 2 atleast until E3. this is for Zelda, Pikmin 3, 3DS and some more we do not know about. maybe even the VS and the games for it

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

It's gotta be 3DS. Makes sense as a venue to drop more concrete details (like if they have partnerships set up for movie delivery, or if they're building an actual online play network for the thing), as well as a US price/date

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Around the Network

This is almost certainly the 3DS, they might announce some other stuff, but this will be the main attraction

Can only be for the the 3DS, i don't see them announce the "super wii" before the release of the 3DS, else it will affect the 3DS hype and sells.

But we must first concentrate ourselves on the way to entertain people, for video games to live. Else, it's a world where sales representative will win, which has as effect to kill creativity. I want to say to the creators all around the world:"Courage, Dare!". Shigeru Miyamoto.

Motion Plus games

3DS

Vitality Sensor

Its obviously going to be a huge showcase for the 3DS, it might also be a showcase for the long unheard of Vitality Sensor. I remember Nintendo showcased at TGS when they unvieled the Wiimote, this could be a once in a generation deal. Nintendo just wants another venue to showcase the 3DS and all its capabilities.

I'm pretty sure they'll announce price and release date of the 3DS for NA and maybe Europe.
