Well from January to September they shipped 4.8 million PS2's.  VGC has it at 2.3 million in the same period.  I think a lot of the sales come from areas they get no data from, and nobody really complains about it so they figure why bother.

Was sort of expecting 500k for 360 in EU/America.  Not bad either way though.  All systems had a good week except the PSP.

PS2 is probably selling well in the regions that VGChartz is having difficulty to track, the same regions that caused the rather large PS3 adjustment not to long ago. That or they're to busy with the ''current generation'', while PS2 is still selling well, more than PSP for example.

PS2 was already at 147.6m shipped by the end of september, over 12 million ahead of the DS at 135.58m. And stores are not going to stock 12 million units of a 10 year old console....

But Sony will probably release some kind of press notice when it gets to 150m, who knows could even happen by the end of the year.

I still expect DS to cnarrow the gap later this year and PS2 is at like 150M and DS 144.3M, then the gap will carry on to narrow.

Although we're going a bit offtopic here, the question is how long will Nintendo keep producing the DS? You have to remember, 3DS launches in a few months.

Kinect Adventures week 2 Americas: 250,553

That's over a 50% drop. Something is telling me MIcrosoft won't be making their target of 5 million by the end of the year...

7.91M VS 8.08M, would need to sell at least 190K but I think it will do it the week after for sure.

I heard that GBA sold 25M after the DS launched and Nintendo said they will keep on supporting DS, hell they could cut the price of DS after 6 months of 3DS, could do another 15M to make it 159M, surley it will pass PS2 by then.

I was going to call it, I dont know if it will next week but it sure top it in two weeks time;)

I guess some of the people that after mw2´s launch last year said nsmbwii would never top it in america are in for some crow :P (I know the bet was for january, but many people said it would never ever beat it)
