Yea, the wings may come from his own shield due to the sword spirit.

Nintendo could u please just take my money and give me back my 3DS?!

That's a damn good theory. I thought there would be some element of flight due to the logo-like he said, the logos of Zelda games over recent years have usually shown a big mechanic from the game. I didn't think it would mean the Skyward Sword girl would fly, though. Well done to him for a good theory, hopefully it won't be too long before we find out whether or not he's right!

Neither do I. I just think that some sort of wings will pop out from the sword, and you can actually fly wherever you want like a bird.

It would be awesome to have an air combat in the middle of a flight (with the sword, so no wings) from Skyloft and then let the wings spread right before touching the ground @_@

Who isn't hyped about Skyward Sword? Microsoft and Sony fans maybe?

Link Icarus? That would be cool, but I honestly don't think Link will be able to fly. The symbol behind the logo doesn't necessarily mean a flying mechanic (although hinted by Aonuma), but it could have to do with the roots of the Hyrule Kingdom being unveiled in this game. Who knows?? I can't wait.
