Mass Effect is easily the best game I've ever played.

I'd put L4D and Gear of War a bit higher, but that's personal preferance.

Overall respectable list.

Stop bashing him for not including LBP. He said he was only including games with more than two iterations already.

Funny, 4 of those are or were exclusive to the 360. I guess that goes to show that the 360 got it's games coming out soon after release (1 o 2 years), while it took the PS3 a while longer (2 or 3 years). That gap is even longer considering the PS3 came out a year late.

If I could include games with 1 iteration:

Ewww Assassins Creed... The first one killed that franchise for me. Not sure about BioShock either. I loved it, but is it really a new IP? It's developers refer to it as a spiritual successor to SystemShock after all. IMO that's similar to the RDR games situation.

I think you mean "more than 1 iteration" there since there's only been ME1/ME2, Uncharted 1/Uncharted 2

And this game is the other LBP game out this gen

There is no excuse for not counting LBP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Outside Layton, this list put me to sleep.  

Mass Effect, Uncharted and L4D especially, they're all so derivative and cliche in terms of look and concept.  Why not really imaginative stuff like Portal, LBP or Scribblenauts?
