I hadn't even realised I had caused them much damage at all and suddely they die. |
From my two cents this game is definitely worth picking up, and you can get a lot of time out of it. I'm not a big fan of fps, in fact this game is the only fps this gen I've played for more than 1-2 hours. But the online is addiciting, split screen with friends is as fun (at least almost) as on the N64, and the single player is surprsingly strong. I finished the single player earlier and would say it took me ~8 hours, which is a decent length for this type of game. But I'm already planning on playing through it again, because beating levels once unlocks speed run modes, there are multiple paths in most levels, and the extra difficult settings will be fun (especially 007 Classic that uses health and body armor pick ups instead of regenerating health).
Overall I would rate this game a 9 overall, and as far as value I would give it a 9.5 or even 10 maybe.
So I would say if you like FPSs, and certainly if you enjoyed the original, than the game is worth a pick up sooner than later.
