Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Are yo satisfied with wii`s 2010 software?

Great year for Wii full of great games for Wii only.

Around the Network

I've bought:

Tatsunoko vs Capcom

Galaxy 2

Monster Hunter Tri

and will buy

DKCR

Kirby Epic Yarn (next year as I live in Europe)

I am more than satisfied. There are too many games and not enough time or money to enjoy them all.

I'm quite satisfied. I've bought Monster Hunter Tri, Galaxy 2 and Other M so far. If I can get the money and depending on reviews I'll get Epic Mickey, Goldeneye and Donkey Kong Country Returns by Christmas. I also really want to pick up No More Heroes 2 and Sin and Punishment 2.

@Darth, clearly you like platformers a lot. Do u get the feeling about epic Mickey that I get? That it will look and sound great but the gameplay will be nice ideas with bad execution and over used mechanics/gimmicks?

I don't know if its gonna be "gimmicks" TBH

Because so far from what I've seen the only problem that could happen is that the game is trying too many different things (2D, 3D, Painting, RPG elements and more) that it doesn't do "extremely good" in any single one of them.....thats my only worry right now.

I wouldn't call the variety we are seeing "gimmicks" just yet......

I think Epic Mickey will be a game where we will need to really play it to find out for ourselves

We'll find out in just a few weeks.

I just want DK!

Well, the game that made me play my wii quite a lot this year was and still is Monster hunter 3. Oh and Smash Melee (WHich is not 2010 software).

Games I've played on the Wii this year (didn't necessarily come out in 2010):

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories: One of my biggest gaming plesant surprises this generation. Really enjoyed the game and the message it was telling.

No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle: Improves on nearly everything from the first game, and continues the strange tale of Travis Touchdown. Fun game!

Endless Ocean: Blue World: So serene and relaxing. I wish there were more games like this. ^_^

Red Steel 2: Kind of short, but fun in small bursts and always intense with the action. WMP controls work very well!

Super Mario Galaxy 2: Sequel to the Game of the Forever... and it... actually improves on the magic! Incredible game... just incredible...

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: What the heck is Tatsunoko? Well... as it turns out, two of my favorite characters to use are from the Tatsunoko side! Great fighter.

Monster Hunter Tri: I've put in about 5 hours into this game. Not because I don't like it... I really do! Time has been on the short side, but I still need to play this game.

Metroid: Other M: It's a good game, just not a great one. But with Metroid, I expected great. Probably my biggest disappointment of the year.

Muramasa: The Demon Blade: I started it up last year, and I "beat" the game, but I always wanted to go and 100% the game. So I came back, got all the swords, and beat all the Enemy Lairs (last one was tough!). Great game, with amazing hand drawn graphics and serene music.

About to start:

Donkey Kong Jungle Beat (gonna get it done in time for Donkey Kong Country Returns. )

Next in Line to be bought:

Sonic Colors

Very satisfied, MH3 had me playing my Wii a lot and it was worth. I'm going to get GoldenEye 007 soon. I'm still undecided on DKCR.

I was satisfied with MH Tri and SMG 2.

The rest, not so much...
