1. First experience i dont really remember. I just remember playing it all the time with my brothers, friends, cousins... you name it!! I even played it in 2 different countries!! I dont think i ever grew outa DK until the PS2 hit stores :P I also enjoyed DK64 which was amazing, probably my most beloved N64 game. I could easily say that the DK series is in the top two of all time, only joint with mario. And if it were not for the total neglection on the game cube, and up till now on the wii, it probably would be my favourite.

2. Umm i just remember being dazzled by everything. The character designs, the music, being able to ride rambi, and that swordfish, and the frog! It was really amazing, also i couldnt stop playin the mine cart level no matter how many times i finish it :) It was just so good in every aspect. Also who could forget the DK rap?

I first playing DK rather casually starting on the SNES with DKC, then skipped 2 and went to DKC3 - - - N64: Diddy Kong Racing - - - Wii: DK: Barrel Blast

but the one that really made me LOVE the series and is my favourite is BY FAR is Donkey Kong Jungle Beat!!! (Wii-Make version) - - - It was SOOOO much fun and the gameplay was SO interesting and innovative!!! :D

It doesn't look like this game will follow a similar gameplay approach... I do think Rare will deliver a good game, i just haven't seen anything really zomghype-worthy from this game for me so far**

**granted, i haven't really seen ANYTHING from this game as i want ZERO spoilage - same for Kirby/Epic Mikey/Sonic Colors/XenoBlade...etc

Is anyone here really really HYPED for DKCR??? if so, can you tell why? :)

I think i have to share this. While i was searching for DK videos, i stumbled into this:

O_o

Retro is making this and not RARE

and basically the game is gonna be like the original DKC1/2/3 not like Jungle Beat and so on

I'm still sure you'll like it though.

I am hyped for it SIMPLY because DKC is my 2nd best platformer of all time and with this the same type of music/style and so on is coming back!

First of all rare is no longer nintendo. Retro studios are delivering the game. And well if you ever liked DKC, then this is what DKC was and even more. Hell if you see the graphics and art style you'll be impressed on the Wii, it's that good! This is probably my most hyped game on the wii along with Zelda, which is saying something... I cant say much more without adding spoilers so there you have it :)
