Oh hell yes.

This is my kind of game. My kind of demo. Throws you right into some big freaking battle that there's no way to survive, only then you go through and beat the shit out of everything.

it remindsm me of God Hand in a way - throws you into the deep end. I wonder if the final game will have a tutorial. I kind of hope it doesn't. Aw yis. This is the good stuff.

I died four times my first run through the demo, and one time was against the boss. I played on Normal. This is a good number for a new game, and it took me about that long to learn how to use the system effectively.

Guys, I know that melee hits look awesome when you use them during Charge mode, but those are really the sort of thing you should only use to clear out cover so you can get behind it and get a breather. Melee hits are just like in any other game - not to be used without care. Your Charge is much better if you use te time dilation to get off some fancy gun blasts, which was a technique I found very useful against the boss (oh shotgun, you're my only friend).

Maybe it's because I've been playing a lot of Vanguard in Mass Effect 2 or maybe it's my pedigree in Clover/Platinum-type games, but this is great. I think I'm going to preorder this game now.

I love Mikami.

I can't believe Baynoetta is only at 1.5 million. It deserves so much more. Needs to be published by EA or Activision. Actually I can believe it. It's a bit wacky for Western tastes and PS3 version was well inferior so the JPN looked the other way.

I think the poor PS3 version definately cost the title sales.  But... I don't think it was ever going to be that huge simply because I just don't think it had broad enough appeal - or was marketed enough to achieve such appeal.

I can testify if the PS3 version hadn't been borked I'd probably have bought vs borrowed.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Throw a grenade at the leg of the final boss, slow down the game, slide under the boss, shoot grenade, slide away and enjoy the satisfaction of doing the coolest thing ever to be done in video games.

I've actually played the demo 8 times, trying to lower my time and get a higher score and I can honestly say that I'm enjoying the game even more than I enjoyed Bayonetta.

Bet with Conegamer and AussieGecko that the PS3 will have more exclusives in 2011 than the Wii or 360... or something.

I did not.

Played the demo again just now, though. I'm going to need a lot of practice at this.

I still need to get Bayonetta. The demo was a blast!

themanwithnoname's law: As an America's sales or NPD thread grows longer, the probabilty of the comment "America = World" [sarcasticly] being made approaches 1.

You should try P.N. 03 someday, if you get the chance.  I always thought it recieved an unfairly negative response due to players' refusal to play the game as it was designed, rather than as they thought they should play it.
