Devil May Cry 4: Cleared Dante Must Die mode and Legendary Dark Knight mode (PC version :P), got the best rank on every mission on every mode including the Bloody Palace. Resident Evil 4: Unlocked Everything, cleared hardest mode, Got max stars Rank on every map on the mercenaries mini-game with every character, etc. Final Fantasy XII: Cleared the game without leveling up (doing a 122333 challenge). Killed every boss available on a normal playthrough (Yiazmat, Omega Mk, etc) But never did this during my 122333 challenge because I got kind of bored of the game before trying xD... should try it someday. God of War II: Cleared Titan (Very Hard) mode. God Hand: Cleared the game on Hard mode doing a Kick Me Sign Run (that means not using the God Hand or Roulette Wheel during the game xD). Metal Gear Solid 2: Cleared the game on Extreme Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater: Cleared the game on Extreme, Unlocked Everything. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots: Cleared the game on Every mode, Got all 40 Emblems, The hardest one being the Big Boss Emblem (Play the game on extreme, get no Alert Phases, Don't Kill Anyone, Don't use any continues, finish the game under 5 hours, don't use any healing items such as rations, don't use special items such as Stealth Camo or Bandana, etc). God of War III: Cleared the game on Chaos mode (Very Hard) Without getting any Minotaur Horn, Phoenix Feathers, Gorgon Eyes, Without Upgrading anything (Weapons, Helios' Head, Hermes' Shoes, Bow of Apollo, etc). I did this twice :P.

My biggest achievment? Beat Metal Gear Solid 3 (Subsistence) in Europeun Extremme. If you don't have idea what I'm talking about, is passing the whole game without being seeing. Not even once. Or instant death. Also getting those Frogs from hell, including the ondes during boss battles and THE FREAKING ONE YOU HAD TO SHOOT WITH A SNIPER RIFLE WHILE DRIVING A MOTORCYCLE. And being chased by evil dudes. All at the same time. Talk about hardcore.
Above: still the best game of the year.
Beating Uncharted on crushing mode.
Zuma on XBLA. Finishing the game without losing a life.

Getting all 493 pokemon in diamond (include all different forms) without trading (unless the pokemon could only be found in a different game.
hmm this gen: Killzone 2 Elitesoldier Trophy :D worked hard (died a lot) for that one
beat FF13, cuz I have never finished a Final Fantasy on console
beside that: beating dino crisis 2 - as I hate survival horror games, donno what was going on in my mind :D

In my youth, I beat some of gamings hardest titles (Battletoads, Ninja Turtles, Bayou Billy, Ninja Gaiden) but I think that anybody could beat those games if they are persistent enough. My crowning moment was when I beat Emerald and Ruby Weapon in FF7. In retrospect, it wasn't that big of a deal because everybody can beat them, too. I just felt incredibly proud of myself when I put together a strategy to beat those two and after hours of trying, it finally paid off!
Honorable mention for Super Metroid. I had beating that game in record time down to a science. Then, I bought the strategy guide and realized that I knew secrets that even they didn't know.

Bah. Perhaps now would be a good time to mention a little game called Avatar: Burning Earth for the Xbox 360. I got 1000 Achievement points in that game. That's right. I'm awesome.
