So after 2 hours of alien swarm I can conclude:

Very addicting
Great Co-OP (i like more than l4d)
overall fun :D

Thank you valve for a free great game that I would have probably paid a few dollars to buy

Picked it up, played it briefly, albeit offline.  Can't wait to play it with real people as opposed to bots.

See the original AS came out in 2004 and it was amazing. Then the team started to do AS:I but all of the sudden they disappeared around 2007. Many were-a-speculating and it turns out that the ones who said they went to Valve were right. They probably had some hand in L4D as well. I also agree, I have always loves AS more than L4D/2.

On another note, this game crashes at the weirdest times so eh.

When I alt tab, or when I join some funky game. It seems to happen only once in a while and now it seems to have stabalized. I know I wasn't the only one either too.

Alien Swarm is currently the most played game on Steam. It's probably bringing a few thousands new members to Steam.

Now it only needs to be released to the game-hungry MAC owners.
