It revolutionized it for consoles, but that does not make it a milestone in GAMING. The PC has had multiplayer online for over a decade before LIVE was even conceived on a drawing board. Also everything that you ranted off also was done on the PC for decades before it was done on LIVE.

I couldn't care less about what Live did for consoles, if they say top 10 milestones in GAMING, they can't just cut out computer gaming. Live may have given online to consoles, but how was that a milestone in gaming when PC gamers had it way before? GT is bad at seeing the big picture.

They've had that problem for years. They actually called Nintendo's strategy short-term in 2008. And now they are shocked that Sony and Microsoft are trying to copy that strategy.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

The whole industry is heavily dominated by console gamers. PC gaming is losing popularity fast.

No, weren't not happy it's treated as a separate point from online gaming. There is no point to that. Even if Live was help up as the gold standard, it's still part of online gaming.

That is why BioWare is saying that they are sticking with the PC as a main platform right? Or Blizzard? Or Valve? Surely their games being so amazing and great have been on the top of piracy lists sinec forever. Oh wait... they aren't. I am also sure they don't make any money off of them, oh wait development for SC2 alone is $100mil? I guess that defeats that point.

Well BioWare games are multiplatform? I don't care which is the main platform. Valve, blizzard? Who cares about those companies. Valve has only half-life and few other shooters and blizzard is pay for play. Wonder why they stick with pc...
