Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Level 5 state that Ni No Kuni & Inazuma Eleven to be Released in the West

Ninokuni, The hotly anticipated collaboration between Level 5 and Studio Ghibli, will be released outside of Japan according to Akihiro Hino.

In an interview with Nintendo Power, the Level 5 CEO confirmed that the game will be released in the West along with the company's football RPG Inazuma Eleven.

In fact Hino said his company is keen to bring more games out in the US and Europe. With the success of Level 5's Professor Layton series it's not hard to see why.

Ni no Kuni is an RPG that comes with a 352-page Magic Master book which you'll have to refer to in order to draw symbols with thse stylus that will enable you to unlock doors.

It looks amazing but the gameplay is typical RPG fare with you chatting to passers by and getting stuck into random battles when you'll use magical and physical attacks to see off enemies.

As for Inazuma 11, it's a strange mix of football and role playing. You are Endou Mamoru, a very talented young goalkeeper and the grandson of one of the strongest goalkeepers in Japan. Unfortuanately his school doesn't have a team and his classmates don't seem interested in training.

But when a mysterious forward called Gouenji moves to Endou's town, the young goalkeeper sets out to find and recruit members for his football team. There are nearly 1000 playable characters with varying skills that will determine the success of the team.

As for the matches, Endou and his team have to explore in order to get new items and they will face several other players in short casual battles. Then you're into the match itself where the result of any of your player's actions are determined by seven skills, the player's affinity, and the total number of players participating in an action. Special abilities can only be stopped with other abilities.

It's not exactly FIFA!

I'm still waiting for the first Inazuma to arrive in EU...

CURRENTLY PLAYING: Xenoblade (Wii), Super mario 3D land (3DS), Guild Wars (PC)

O_O

I love today so much now!

Former something....

Good news all around, now if only an exact date would be given.

I read this on Kotaku... but I'll believe when I see the DS game in my hands.

I still think 3DS will make this statement bland. But PS3 version is guaranteed, which is great... since it's the graphics king this gen :)

Wow, I just wanted this game because it's full of Ghibli animation, I had no idea that it was bundled with a 300 page spellbook.

Kickass.
