The world's biggest developers and publishers have been showing off their hottest upcoming games at the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles. And all week long the IGN editors have been squinting at them with a critical eye. Some will bored us, some wowed us, and some knocked Ryan Clements' Crocs off. But only the best of the best will win our coveted IGN E3 Awards. We nominated our favorite games of E3 2010 throughout the week to create this final list of the best games of the show. The only thing left to do.... is choose. The IGN editors will be casting their votes this afternoon, and we'll announce the winners by 8:00 p.m. Watch this space!

Hold on. How can you have best overall game nominees if those games dont win in any 360,PS3,wii,ds,psp or PC categories? 

Surely the best overall game should consist of the winners of the best of platforms?

I'd give this list more credit if they had Golden Sun: Dark Dawn in the DS game list.
