Now THAT's quite an achievement, right montana? :P

Not really.

It just shows that people still wanted a big 3D movie and that it had a lot of hype. And as Pirates of the Caribbean consistently proves, shitty movies can still top the box office. That you had to single me out here just shows your sense of pride in what was a really below average movie.

What do you have against Pirates!??!  Those movies are awesome... they were close to my first BD movie purchases..

They're not very good movies. I'm not going to go in depth with it because I'm really just being lazy with this thread and spouting off cliched negative remarks. We've known for a while now that Alice in Wonderland would pass Dark Knight. I'm not angered by this so much, not really. Just someone who cheers for a really average, boring, predictable movie over something that was genuinely well made (and perhaps we have anymore of VGC's fine humor, I'm saying that the Dark Knight is far better made).

It is a shame. The Dark Knight was better movie and I didn't even fuggin see Alice in Wonderland haha

How can you say it is a better movie if you haven't seen Alice? :P

I consider TDK one of the best movies I have seen. I consider THE ORIGINAL Alice in Wonderland one of the biggest wastes of time I have ever partaken in and the most ridiculous movie I have ever witnessed.

2-1=1.

1 judgment I can make off of prior experences and viewer feedback that AIW would not be better than TDK in my opinion. I don't even have to see it, and I RARELY judge.

lol I was just kidding.

But it really is an achievement. If you go on most box office forums, you'll see that pretty much everybody agree that Alice is (box office-wise) the biggest suprise of the year. It's true that Alice would not have been so strong without the help of Avatar though.

Well just from the start you can see how epic tdk is.... alice is kiddy

But Alice is not that kiddy.

And even if it was, is it a bad thing?

I mean Super Mario Galaxy 2 is kind of kiddy too but it's still one of the best game this gen.

Plus I love kiddy stuff.

@Boutros: lol I didn't notice
I don't care about the kiddiness in games, but movies I hate funny movies, I like epic dark movies, that's were tdk fits
Just think about it, it was so......
Of course it would have been the half of what it is if it wasn't for heath leagers

But are you sure you've seen Alice? lol

I mean I thought it was pretty dark. It's a Tim Burton film after all.

Yes I've seen it, it wasn't exactly a kids film, nor a tdk type, it was between both

Is Alice better than Charlie & the Chocolate Factory?

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

I actually want to see Alice. Tim Burton ain't a bad director, his movies are different.

But I'm still disappointed! The Dark Knight kicked-ass.

In my opinion yes but both movies are great!

But we have a problem here, YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT?!
