I was looking for a laptop, but if I wanted the same specs of that desktop. I would have probably paid 10x the amount. -.-

You probably spent more than you needed to, but it'll do you well all the same. Congrats on the purchase.

Congrats. That's a very nice comp. Feeling good now, eh? :D

Here is what I got:

- 2.8Ghz Intel Core i7-860 Quad Core processor that overclocks into 3.46Ghz if necessary
- ATI HD Radeon 5850 with 1GB of VRAM
- 8GB DDR3 Memory
- 1.5TB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive; 16X DVD±R/RW SuperMulti Drive
- Multi-in-1 Digital Media Card Reader

There is also like 6 USB ports in the back and 4 in the front, seriously when am I going to use those? ~.^

Bought the PC so I can play Final Fantasy XIV: Online at the max settings. and my first new purchase for this PC is a game called: The Witcher!

Anyways, do you think I got a good PC? :D

That is a very fast computer. You shouldn't need to upgrade the processor or the video card for 4-5 years. But i would recommend getting another hard drive for use as a back-up. 1.5tb is a big drive and if it goes bad thats a lot of information to lose all at once. If you are really looking for speed, put in a solid state drive as you main drive and use the 1.5tb as back-up.

Good choice in buying the witcher. In my opinion its the best rpg of this gen.

Do you know anything about the Windows 7 issue related to the Witcher? or how I can go about getting the patch to get the directors cut content? I want the nudity that has no meaning!

I ran it on vista, so i don't know anything about the win7 issues. If i remember right the nudity was taken out of the american version and at the time that i played it there was no patch that could easily bring it back.

Playing Fable I on my 360. God the slowdown, and the HORRIBLE voice acting. ; ;
