Really hard choice between them all, but I have to pick

Super Mario Bros 3  Mario flying, the layout of the worlds, the scale of the game, favorite power ups, battleships, big world, different kinds of hammer bros, so many secrets to be found, Favorite Bowser caslte/Bowser fight music along with my favorite world 8. my favorite villians first appear The Koopa Kids!

3 is my second favorite. However, The only game I played for 4 years of my life exclusively (when I was like 3-7 yrs old or so) was the Super Mario Bros 1 with duck hunt :D over and over and over again. Nostalgia prevails

oh yeah I reread the OP after I posted, sorry :P

It's basically a tie between Mario 3 and Mario World. Mario 3 had a better game world and better content, but Mario World had the better design and visuals.. not to mention different colored Yoshis!

New Super Mario Bros Wii is a lot like Mario 3, which brings me tons of hope the next Mario is going to be like Super Mario World! :)
