Yeah....I think you have that right. Also, if you like having that right, you shouldn't bother ever updating your PS3 since they shouldn't have the right to mess with the hardware at all. It's not like they own it or have any business doing updates on it anyways.

If I feel like it, I can go buy a gun and start shooting people with it and nothing will stop me. I can also go buy a knife and start stabbing people and nothing can stop me form doing so. I can buy a cast iron pan and start bludgeoning people to death, and no one will stop me. In fact, I can readily buy a ton of metal that moves at 100 miles per hour and mow people down with it as well.

I hope you all enjoy lower software sales due to people that refuse to take it in the ass from Sony. Im not buying another PS3 game until this whole CFW is figured out and there are many old PS3 owners that are doing the same.

Just a typo mixed with trying to think of something to say too early in the morning for my own good. And honestly, yes, it is in Sony's best interest to do the updates, but if you don't want to do the updates, it's your perogative. You can either update, or not bother playing online/new games. That's what the real choice is. Hacking the system, have fun with that, if you get caught, I'm sure Sony will find a way to ban people (like Microsoft with the 360) and the people who suffer are going to cry like a little bitches (like the people did when their 360's were pretty much rendered as useless). If not then all the power to the hacking people. I'll be slightly disappointed that I won't get to laugh at them, but at the same time, I really don't care.

Only a handful of people really honestly even utilized the Linux option before it was removed. It was only made an issue when Sony said they were taking the option away. It's stupid as hell to be annoyed over having something removed that has absolutely no signifigance to most people just because the option was removed. It's essentially the spleen of the PS3. Not really necessary, it's nice to have around but it serves no purpose and can become a real pain if an issue goes unresolved.

I can understand why the few people who used Linux would be annoyed but at the same time, it's a VIDEO GAME CONSOLE. I don't see why people would need Linux on the PS3 in the first place since most people who use the PS3 also have a computer (Or am I being a little too bold with that statement).
