World at war I am not interested..

I saw people pointing to FEAR 2... os SSTALKER... are they really good??

I think you'll enjoy Mass Effect 2 a lot, especially since you were okay with Fallout 3. Give it another look before making any decisions.

Are you going to build yourself? If so i can send you links to parts for a rig that would fall around 1250. However if you want to go lower let me know. Also what resolution are you going to be running at, and what games are you going to be playing?

- buy L4D2 which is an upgraded version of L4D1 with different map but more ammo/weapon/health item and different infected 
(except if you want to save money because L4D1 is cheaper)

- Fear2 ..... I dont think it is that good, I do believe it is inferior to fear1

- Stalker : very good game if you like atmosphere (scary settings), open world, guns, difficulty

note that the Steam version is 1.5 while some mod only run with 1.4 but ther is a "downgrade" patch aviable on internet, so no worry

Stalker also has very good mod improving gfx and gameplay. this summer "lost Alpha" will be out and it will be amazing !

- Call of pripyate is also very good
